Welcome to KadaiBook ("Platform", "Application", "we", "us", or "our"). KadaiBook (accessible via kadaibook.in and mobile applications) is a digital order management, invoice generation, customer ledger (Khata / Udhar), and business management tool designed for merchants, retail shops, and business owners.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the KadaiBook application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use or access our Platform.

1. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To use KadaiBook, you must:

• Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable laws (at least 18 years of age).
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration (such as business name, phone number, and email).
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

KadaiBook provides shop owners and businesses with digital tools including:

• Digital Order Booking: Recording customer orders, delivery tracking, and status updates.
• Billing & Invoice Studio: Creating, customizing, printing (A4/Thermal POS), and sharing GST or Non-GST invoices via WhatsApp or email.
• Customer Ledger (கடன் கணக்கு / Khata): Recording credit balances, partial payments, and automated WhatsApp collection reminders.
• Cloud Synchronization: Encrypted backup of store transactions, products, and customer records across devices.

3. ACCURACY OF BUSINESS DATA & TAX COMPLIANCE

KadaiBook functions as a management and calculation software tool. You, as the merchant/business owner, remain solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of item prices, discounts, invoice details, and customer information entered into the app.
• Compliance with all applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax), sales taxes, state and central tax filings, and trade regulations.
• Ensuring that products or services listed and sold through your store comply with applicable laws and do not involve prohibited or illegal goods.

4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS & IN-APP PURCHASES

KadaiBook may offer free tier usage alongside premium subscription packages:

• Subscription billing, renewals, and cancellations are processed through official app stores (Google Play Store / Apple App Store) or authorized payment gateways.
• Features included in premium plans are detailed within the app's upgrade/subscription page.
• Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the respective platform through which the purchase was made.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The KadaiBook brand name, logo, software code, user interface designs, templates, and trademarks are the exclusive property of KadaiBook and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your business operations in accordance with these Terms.

6. PRIVACY & DATA SECURITY

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. How we collect, store, and process your personal and business data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to our data practices as outlined therein.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

KadaiBook is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for 99.9% service reliability and continuous cloud backup:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, bug-free, or error-free operation at all times.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KadaiBook and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of business profits, or data loss arising from the use or inability to use the application.

8. TERMINATION

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion through the app settings or via our Account Deletion Page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.

9. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
